Battery Manufacturing & Assembly

UFOPOWER operates a complete, in-house lithium battery production line — from cell manufacturing to pack assembly. Our seven-step process covers laser welding, intelligent grading, automatic taping, weighing and scanning, traceability, environmental monitoring, and centralized baking control — delivering consistent quality at every stage, from raw materials to finished packs.

Laser Welding to Nickel
Step 01

Laser Welding to Nickel

Traditional thermit welding requires many workstations, wastes resources, and is difficult to operate. In conventional soft-case battery production, cathode tabs are welded to nickel by hand: workers cut coil stock into fixed-length strips, hold the cell in one hand and the nickel plate in the other, align them by eye under the laser machine, and manually trim any excess nickel. Fully manual operations mean low efficiency, poor consistency, and unguaranteed quality. UFOPOWER replaces this with advanced laser welding technology: weld quality is assured, welding heads experience minimal wear and tear, and the machine adjusts intelligently with one key, switching sizes rapidly and automatically. Test data shows laser-welded cells achieve more concentrated internal resistance, discharge rate, and other key indicators — with significantly higher consistency.
Intelligent Grading
Step 02

Intelligent Grading

Our intelligent grading technology applies artificial intelligence to sort cell data sets automatically. Large sample sets form the input data; the machine adjusts itself with one key and switches sizes rapidly and automatically. The testing machine can time, reset, and calibrate intelligently, and indicates which grade each cell belongs to. Samples are automatically imported into the system, where every attribute is precisely classified — completing cell grading automatically and greatly reducing the risk of misjudgment. By analyzing products of known categories, the system automatically establishes reference samples such as product K-value, making internal resistance more consistent across the batch.
Automatic Taping After Top Sealing
Step 03

Automatic Taping After Top Sealing

Our automatic taping technology fills the configuration gap after top sealing. It adjusts the machine intelligently, switches quantities quickly and automatically, and improves tap position consistency. The system also provides anti-leakage, waterproof, sound insulation, and heat insulation functions — 3 times more efficient than traditional operation. All test data is automatically uploaded to the system, significantly improving work efficiency and accuracy.
Weighing and Scanning After Side Sealing
Step 04

Weighing and Scanning After Side Sealing

Our weighing and scanning technology after side sealing features a rotary drive mechanism on the frame for precise rotation angle control. A clamp mechanism holds the soft-case LiPo cell while top and bottom sealing structures on both sides of the turntable complete top and side sealing. The system performs intelligent scanning, automatic weighing, automatic zeroing, and internal corrosion testing, with results automatically uploaded to the system. The compact structure delivers accurate positioning and improved overall production efficiency.
Traceability System
Step 05

Traceability System

Our traceability system records each product through digital identity management, capturing feedback from production, personnel, equipment, materials, and production time — providing process and sales information to continuously improve product quality. It prevents man-made production accidents and enables accurate, targeted recall when a problem occurs. By scanning the product identification code, customers can also access relevant product information, enhancing product safety and brand trust.
Automatic Acquisition of Environmental Data
Step 06

Automatic Acquisition of Environmental Data

Our automatic environmental data acquisition system collects temperature and humidity data from the workshop to achieve environmental monitoring and control. Data is uploaded, saved, analyzed, and processed; standard values trigger alarm reminders, and accurate data is transmitted promptly to the relevant process departments. With real-time guidance, response, and reporting of workshop production dynamics, the system greatly improves problem-solving capability and accelerates the workshop's intelligent manufacturing process.
Baking Centralized Control System
Step 07

Baking Centralized Control System

We design a baking centralized control system that can operate as a single unit or in coordinated multi-unit groups. Oven temperature and vacuum levels are uploaded to display panels in real time; any reading outside the required range triggers an alarm display, and the entire process is recorded in real time. A PDA-based out-of-box control system provides experimental test results. The system centrally monitors all functions, provides effective protection for the injection procedure, and delivers reliable real-time stability.
