From Polaris Energy Storage Network News: Polaris energy storage Network learned that on November 5, China Energy Construction Group Zhejiang Thermal Power won the bid for the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Energy Storage Power Station project. The project is located in the Zheneng Xiaoshan Power Plant in Linpu Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It will build an independent large-scale centralized energy storage power station. The total capacity of the power station is planned according to 100 MW/200 MWh and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the 50 MW/100 MWh energy storage system is planned to be connected to the grid and put into production at the end of June 2022.

It is understood that the main equipment of the project includes: 35kV confluence and boost system, station power system, monitoring and protection system, HVAC equipment, fire protection and fire alarm system, etc. and corresponding supporting transformations.
